Trading Your Cards at PRIMAL NERDS

We love seeing your collections! To provide the most accurate and fair valuation for your cards, we have updated our trade-in process. These guidelines help us ensure that every trade is handled with the care and attention it deserves.

1. What We Buy

We focus on cards with a TCGPlayer Market Value of $2.00 or more.

  • Pricing: Our offers are based on the lowest listed price on TCGplayer.com.

  • Condition: Offers are calculated at the Lightly Played (LP) rate or lower, depending on the physical condition of the card.

2. Trade-In Values

Whether you are looking to refresh your deck or walk away with cash, we offer competitive rates:

  • Store Credit: 65% of the calculated value.

  • Cash: 50% of the calculated value.

3. Large Trade-Ins (50+ Cards)

For larger collections, we want to make the process as efficient as possible.

  • The DIY Option: Provide us with a CSV list of your cards (exported from TCGPlayer) to avoid any processing fees.

  • The Full-Service Option: If you’d prefer us to handle the cataloging, we charge a small service fee of $5 per 200 cards (starting at 50 cards).

    • Note: This fee may be waived at our discretion if we finalize a purchase of your collection!
