Monday Night Triumphs: Guildball and Marit Lage

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the night special.

A main event for the evening was an introduction to Guildball, a game that blends strategic thinking with thrilling gameplay. We had experienced Guildball veterans on hand to guide us newcomers through the rules, strategies, and best practices. It was wonderful to see everyone engaged, learning, and enjoying the game together.

The evening started with a brief tutorial session where our experts explained the basics of movement, attacking, and scoring. By the end of the night, we saw some impressive plays and high potential, setting the stage for more exciting Guildball nights in the future at Primal Nerds.

While Guildball was ruling one side of the house, our Magic the Gathering tables were not to be outdone. The night witnessed some truly extraordinary plays, but none more jaw-dropping than the Marit Lage combo pulled off on turn two! It was a reminder of why Magic the Gathering has remained a beloved game for decades: the thrill of the unexpected and the sheer joy of witnessing a crazy executed strategy.
